Bajjodi, June 5th, 2022 : The Sunday Catechism Year 2022-23 was inaugurated symbolically on Sunday, June 5th during 9.15am mass. All children came with joy and enthusiasm for the Sunday catechism class. It was very fitting that we inaugurated the catechism year with the celebration of the word of God - the Enthronement of the Bible. All the teachers and One representative from each class came in procession to the Altar. During the Holy Mass the Catechism Teachers were called upon to renew the vows and commit themselves to the wonderful ministry of teaching Catechism.

Fr Rayan Pinto presided over the ceremony. Fr. Ivan Dsouza in his sermon emphasized on the need of Catechism and Christian upbringing. He encouraged the children to be faithful to the catechism classes and take keen interest in learning about truths of Christian Faith. Teachers pledged their commitment to the ministry of catechising children. Fr. Ivan D’souza introduced the teachers and wished them all the best. The liturgy was coordinated by the Catechism Coordinator Mrs. Janet D’souza and Catechism Teachers.

Soon after the Mass, Parents - Students' meeting was held in the parish hall.
