Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo celebrated his 77th birthday on Monday, 14th March, 2022.  The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass by Fr. Patrick Lobo at 6 pm for which parishioners were present in large numbers. The Parish priest Fr Ivan D’souza, Superior of Carmel Hill Fr. Charles Serrao, Fr. Rayan Pinto, Fr. Shabas Crasta concelebrated the mass. Fr. Charles Serrao preached the Homily.

The mass was followed by a stage programme in the Mini Hall which began with a prayer led by Fr. Rayan Pinto.  The Parish council Vice President Mr. Prakash Saldanha welcomed the gathering. Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas spoke a few words about Fr. Patrick Lobo.  Fr. Ivan Dsouza too shared his feelings of appreciation and gratitude for all the love and service Fr. Patrick Lobo has been giving to the Church and its people especially his concern through his visits to families and the sick every evening. Fr. Charles Serrao spoke a few words and offered a bouquet of flowers wishing Fr. Patrick well in the coming years which was followed by cake cutting. The parish choir team sang a song that was dedicated to Fr. Patrick on his birthday.

Rev Fr. Patrick Lobo thanked the gathering for the love they showered on him and that he was touched to see so many people partake in the celebration. He thanked the parishioners for their love and constant support. 

The stage programme was compered by Mrs Irene Pinto. Mrs Irene Pinto proposed the vote of thanks after which the parishioners and the different Associations of the parish came up to wish Fr. Patrick. Birthday cake was served to all gathered for the celebration.
