06.09.2015, Sunday : As we celebrate Teachers day nationwide on 05 September, the parish council took an opportunity to recognize and honor all the teachers of our parish. Teachers are real mentors of our society. Every personality is built by a teacher, so also a healthy and tolerant society. Therefore the mission of a Christian teacher is not only educating children but also to make all salt of the earth and light to the nation. 

During the second mass a special prayer service was held especially for all the teachers and later they were honored.

Vice president Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas called out the names of all the teachers of our parish and guest priest and the main celebrant of the service Rev. Fr. Donath Rebeiro and the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Shabas Crasta honored all the teachers and appreciated their good service. All the catechism teachers also were applauded for their selfless service at the church. They have been harbingers of Christian faith and missionaries too. 

May God bless all our dear teachers and continue to inspire and ignite the little minds.
