The ward members took part in a thanksgiving mass on October 01st, 2018 Monday at 6 pm for all the blessings received through the year. Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo celebrated the Holy Mass and delivered a meaningful message in his homily based on the life of St. Therese of Child Jesus. The ward members shared their joy with all those present by distributing sweets after mass. The celebration was held on Saturday the 20th of October in our church hall for which our Vicar Rev. Fr. Ivan D'souza, Rev.Fr. Patrick Lobo, Vice President of Parish Council Joseph Mascarenhas, Secretary Mrs. Irene Pinto, co- ordinator Sr. Lidwin were present along with nearly 75 members of the ward.

We started the function by lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer song. Our ward gurkar Philomena Mendonca welcomed the gathering. Molly Concesso read the annual report. The distinction holders of class Tenth and Pre- university were felicitated followed by a message from our dear Vicar Rev. Fr. Ivan D'souza after which Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo too shared his message. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Jerald Lobo. The ward members in their enthusiasm and togetherness put up a short cultural programme that had a group song and two dances by children and grownups respectively. Games were conducted for children of different age groups followed by a game of housie housie for all, after which we had prize distribution to all the winners.

Rev. Fr. Ivan D'souza led us into a prayer and blessed the food . All the ward members along with Fr. Ivan D'souza, Fr. Patrick Lobo and the guests had a meal together as one family . Mrs. Flossy Crasta compered the function. The function ended around 9.30 pm with a dance of baila to which many of our ward members danced joyfully.
