Bajjodi: One day training Programme on “Youth Leadership, Skills and Team Building” was organized on 1st July 2018 at bajjodi Parish. The Programme was organized by the members of ICYM, bajjodi unit. All the youth came together under one roof for this unique event.

The program commenced with a prayer led by youth in the parish hall. Rev. Fr. Deepak Thomas, National Youth Director of ICYM was the Chief Guest. The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ivan D’souza presided over the function and in his address encouraged the Youth to exhibit their talents and make use of the opportunities given to them. Fr Deepak Thomas in his message said that everyone is valuable to the family, church and the society”. Parish ICYM president Joel Fernandes, Vice President Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas, secretary Irene Pinto, Resource person Mr. Roshan Madtha and YFC coordinator Michael D’silva were present on the dais. Joel Fernandes welcomed the gathering, Ms. Pranita compered the programe. Raveena proposed the vote of thanks.

Fr. Ivan D’souza introduced the resource person Roshan Madtha. He conducted the ice breaking sessions to the youth. After the first session YFC members gave a session on goal in life, Importance of ICYM. They also conducted games and group activities. The half day programme concluded with the Eucharist at 1pm. 100 Youth participated in this programme. Sumptuous meal was served to all. On the whole, YUVAANGAN was a combination of message, knowledge and activities.
