June 17: The Parishioners of Infant Mary church, Bajjodi held a farewell programme in hour of outing Parish Priest Fr. Shabas Crasta on June 17th Sunday.

The 9.15am mass was celebrated by the new asst. Priest Fr. Fr. Patrick Lobo and concelebrated by Fr. Shabas Crasta, Parish Priest Fr. Ivan D’souza and Fr. Jocy Dsouza. After the mass formal felicitation and farewell ceremony was held in the parish hall.  The programme began with the prayer dance by small children. A short stage programme was held.  St. Joseph Monastery Superior Fr. Wilfred Rodrigues, Fr. Ivan D’souza, Fr. Jocy D’souza, Vice President Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas, Secretary Mrs. Irene Pinto were present on the dais.

Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas welcomed the gathering. Parish Priest Fr. Ivan thanked Fr. Shabas Crasta for his three years service in the Parish. Parish Pastoral Council secretary Mrs. Irene Pinto read the felicitation message. The members administrative committee felicitated by Fr. Shabas crasta with a shawl, fruits, flower bouquet and Man Patr. Fr. Shabas Crasta thanked all the parishioners for their whole heard cooperation in all the parish activities and assured his prayers. All the committee, association as well ward members offered flowers and bouquets to Fr. Shabas Crasta and wished him all the best in his future ministry in Australia.

Mr. Kiran Crasta compered the programme. Cultural Secretary Mrs. Nirmala Braggs proposed the vote of thanks. Snacks were served to all the parishioners.
