The Women’s Commission of Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi had organised 'Easter Frolic 2023', the first ever games and entertainment program on 9th April 2023 in view of Easter Celebration. This event was also held as a fund raiser for future activities of the Association. Various games and food stalls were setup in the Church Premises.

The games event commenced at 4:15pm with a prayer led by Parish Priest Fr. Ivan D'souza. Later a symbolic start off for the games was given by him by playing one of the games. A large number of parishioners as well as guests arrived for the Easter Frolic, who enthusiastically took part in the games, tasted and enjoyed the variety of delicious food items that were on the menu.

At 7:15pm an informal stage program was held. The Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Joseph Mascarenhas, Convener of Women’s Commission, City Deanery appreciated the members for their active involvement in the Association activities. He was welcomed and honoured with the floral bouquet and a memento. Mrs Molly Rodrigues delivered welcome speech. Rev. Fr Ivan Dsouza, Rev. Fr Patrick Lobo, PPC Vice President Mr. Prakash Saldanha, Secretary Mrs. Elizabeth Pereira were also present. Fr. Ivan Dsouza and Fr. Patrick Lobo in their respective messages appreciated and praised President and members of the Association for their dedication and wished the Association tremendous growth and all success in the coming years. Mrs. Meena Pinto, Association President read out the donors list and thanked them for their whole hearted support. Mrs. Sylvia Mascarenhas proposed the vote of thanks.

The stage programme was followed with entertainment by team “The Expression”. Mrs. Ashitha Rasquinha introduced the members of team to the audience. They were welcomed with the flower bouquet by the Parish Priest. 'Team Expression' entertained the audience with unstoppable laughter by their humour. Their amazing performance was highly appreciated by all. They were thanked with a token of appreciation at the end of their performance. Ms Melisha Pinto stunned the crowd with her powerful yet melodious singing. The members of the Association entertained the audience with their dance performance. There was a lucky draw where the winners were announced and the prizes were distributed. A game of Housie and the DJ were the add-on events that made Easter evening even more enjoyable to all those present.

Mrs. Meena Pinto and Mrs Jenifer Fernandes compered the overall event which came to an end at 9:45pm.
