Spiritual Ayog organized a training programme for the newly formed Lectors of our parish on Sunday, 20 February, 2022 from 9 to 11am in the parish community hall. Rev Fr Ronald Serrao, Rector of St Joseph’s Seminary, Mangalore was the resource person.  

The programme began with a prayer led by the Parish Priest Fr. Ivan D'souza. Fr. Ivan then welcomed the gathering and Fr. Ronald Serrao with a bouquet of flowers, whom he then introduced to those gathered.

Fr Ronald explained in detail the ministry of Lectors through a powerpoint presentation. Practical session was held thereafter. At the end Fr. Ronald Serrao clarified the liturgical doubts that the lectors expressed.

Spiritual Ayog coordinator Mrs. Leena Cornelio thanked the Resource person for sparing his valuable time in training the lectors and thus enhancing awareness about the ministry of lectors. 78 members of 10 wards participated in the programme.

The programme ended with a thanksgiving prayer by Fr. Ivan Dsouza.
