The triennial election of the Infant Mary community, Bajjodi was held on 26th September 2021 at 9.30am. Fr. Deep Fernandes, Delegate Provincial of the Secular Carmel presided over the official election. Spiritual Assistant Fr. Ivan Dsouza and 19 OCDS members were present.  

President Gracy Fernandes welcomed everyone. Fr. Ivan Dsouza presented a bouquet of flowers to Fr. Deep Fernandes. Secretary Gretta Lobo presented the Annual report. Fr. Deep Fernandes explained the importance of Secular Carmel and gave some guidelines on procedure for the election.

The following were elected for the next 3 years : 

President : Mrs. Asuntha Mendonca
1st Councillor: Mrs. Sylvia Mascarenhas
2nd Councillor: Mrs. Gracy Fernandes
3rd Councillor: Mrs. Leena Cornelio

Fr. Deep Fernandes after seeking their consent confirmed them in their respective offices. Asuntha Mendonca proposed the vote of thanks.
