Infant Mary Parish, Bajjodi organized a training session for all its PPC members on 23rd February 2021 in the Parish hall. The purpose of this session was to enlighten the members of different ways that could help in building an active and participatory parish body.  Fr Joachim Fernandes, the director of SCCs for Mangalore diocese was the resource person.

Parish Priest Fr Ivan D'souza welcomed Fr. Joachim Fernandes and the gathering. The Bible was solemnly enthroned at the beginning of the session. The session began with the Word of God and a short reflection  by Fr. Ivan D'souza followed by prayers. This session highlighted the responsibility of the PPC members. It emphasized on how to work in collaboration with the Parish team and SCC, keeping Jesus as our role model. Fr. Joachim Fernandes explained in detail on the working of the church and its leaders under various organizations through a powerpoint presentation and cleared all doubts that the members had. 

Following the presentation, coordinators were elected for the 21 commissions. 32 members were present for the session. Mrs. Irene Pinto proposed the vote of thanks. The session ended with the thanksgiving prayer and blessing.
