Dec 28, 2019 : The Christmas star is a symbol of hope, which makes us feel that God is with us. The brightness of the star is associated with the light of Christ, which shines in darkness that guides and shows the right path to life.

The evergreen Fir tree has traditionally been used to celebrate winter festivals (pagan and Christian) for thousands of years. Christians use it as a sign of everlasting life with God.

To enhance the spirit of Christmas and give the parishioners an opportunity to showcase their talents, Infant Mary church team organised Christmas star and tree making competition. Most of the stars and trees made were in accordance with the requirements of the competition. They were natural and attractive. The creativity of the participants was overwhelming. The response was well appreciated by all the parishioners.
