Wards are always the educational units of community.

The Infant Mary ward members celebrated their ward day by offering a Thanksgiving mass on 15th December 2018. Fr.Ivan Dsouza Parish Priest celebrated the solemn Mass. After the mass sweets were distributed to all. Thereafter ward day celebration began at 7pm at the church hall. The programme resumed by invoking God’s blessing a prayer song led by the core committee members.

The dignitaries compressed of our Parish Priest Fr.Ivan Dsouza, Asst. Priest Fr. Patrick Lobo , Sr.Roopa, Vice President Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas, Secretary Mrs.Irene Pinto were present for the programme. Gurkars of other wards were also present for the programme. Gurkar Mr.Lancy Menezes welcomed the gathering. kids with diyas entered hall to mark the ward peace which was the main attention. Mrs.Hilda Monis read the annual report.

Rev.Fr.Ivan Dsouza and Fr.Patrick Lobo spoke a few words saying ward day is an opportunity for giving and sharing happiness and that Infant Mary ward members are actively participating in various activities of the Parish and the enthusiasm in providing service of the ward members is commendable. Further they also wished the ward members very best for the future. The final programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ligoury Renjal.

After the stage programme the cultural programme was commenced by M.C Kiran Crasta entertaining, Dances were performed by ward youth. Mr.Joseph Pinto and Santhosh Veigas were also felicitated for their service in our ward.
