The picnic of the members of the Secular carmel members of Infant Mary Parish was held on 8th April 2018.

The OCDS team of 27 members along with our director Fr.Ivan D’Souza left the church premises at 7.45am. We started the journey with the Angeleus and one decade of the Rosary. We took a short break on the way for coffee and snaks and proceeded on our journey. We first visited Our Lady of Fatima Church Perampalli after which we visited “Lady of Vailankani” Church at Kalmadi.

After a short break we proceeded to Malpe beach. The atmosphere was pleasant in the shade of many trees where we had entertainment through games, songs and eats. The games were conducted by Sylvia, Sharel and Gretta. We had lunch around 1pm after which everyone relaxed a little. More games were conducted after a short break. All members actively took part in the activities. Prizes were then distributed by Fr. Ivan D’Souza. We went into the waters around 4pm. After enjoying ourselves we left the place at around 6.30pm. We recited the Angeleus and the Rosary around 7.15pm followed by a thanksgiving Hymn.

The OCDS member team reached Infant Mary Church safely at 8.30pm. The picnic went on well with the enthusiasm and co-operation of all the members.
