Jan 24, 2016 : The parish community day usually called as 'Kompricho Aitar' (Confraternity sunday) celebrated on 24th January at Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi, as a preparation for the Annual feast which will be held on 31st January.

Fr. Vijay Machado, officiated the entire celebration. He preached on the theme: The Eucharist - source and Strength of Christian Families. He urged everyone to meet the 'Eucharistic Lord' first in ones own Family and in once own native Parish Community. The Eucharistic Lord whom we meet at our own Parish is much more capable of working miracles in ones life. It is because we pray as a community. 

The Eucharistic celebration was followed by the procession where the entire parish community took part in it. The 'Joy Star'  musical band, the choir of the parish, prayerful singing of the parishioners, the colorful decoration all along the way with the words of scriptures colored the entire celebration. Fr. Shabas Crasta, the parish priest took extra initiative encouraging the parishioners all along the week, being with them in their preparations. Fr. Jocy, Fr. Ivan Kamat, fr. Gregory and Fr. Prakash from Carmel hill, were also present for the procession and liturgical service. The Spiritual Committee prepared the entire liturgy of the Day.

On Saturday (30) at 6 pm there will be vespers (bhesp). ON 31st the Festive Mass will be at 10 am.
