12, 2015 Thursday:  As the Hindu Brethren celebrate the feast of Diyas (deepavalli) the socio-cultural committee along with ICYM Bajjodi unit also planned to have a celebration of lights.

After the Taize prayer service Fr. Jocy quoting Kannada Poem of late G. S. shivarudrappa said that we light Diyas (lamps) not because we are confident that we will overcome the darkness completely rather one lights the lamp only to see the face of another and to recognize him/her  as brother/sister.

Later firecrackers were blasted beginning with the Pastor Shabas Crasta. Children as well as elders enjoyed this unique celebration and left a word of appreciation
